Free from the spaceship and reunited with Samuai, Asher should be happy. But thoughts of her dead family are weighing heavily on her mind and things worsen when temper problems in the camp lead to a murder. Freedom has surely come with a price. Then when Asher volunteers to retrieve the drug needed to calm people down things spiral out of control as tension ignites, loyalties are put into question, jealousy rears its head, and sparks fly.
